Overview

At SGTMake.com, we take pride in delivering high-quality engineering and EV components to customers across India and around the world. This Shipping Policy outlines our standard practices for order processing, dispatch, delivery timelines, Incoterms, and related terms for both domestic and international shipments.

Order Processing Time

Standard Orders

All confirmed orders are processed within 2–5 business days after successful payment and verification.

Weekend & Holidays

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Custom-Built Products

For custom-built or made-to-order products (e.g., controllers, battery packs, BMS, or other R&D items), dispatch timelines may vary from 10 to 25 business days, depending on production lead time.

Domestic Shipping (India)

Delivery Time

  • Metro cities: 3–7 business days after dispatch
  • Non-metro / remote locations: 5–10 business days after dispatch

Shipping Partners

Blue Dart, DTDC, Delhivery, or other trusted logistics partners.

Delivery Terms

  • All shipments within India are dispatched on a "door delivery" basis unless otherwise specified.
  • Risk transfers to the buyer upon delivery confirmation.
  • Taxes and GST are included in the invoice value unless stated otherwise.

International Shipping

Delivery Time

All international destinations: 20–25 business days after dispatch

Shipping Partners

DHL, FedEx, UPS, or Aramex (depending on destination and product type).

Incoterms (2020)

DAP (Delivered At Place)

Buyer is responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance in the destination country.

EXW (Ex Works – Bhilwara, Rajasthan, India)

For bulk or B2B orders where the buyer arranges pickup and export logistics.

⚠️ Note: Customs clearance delays are beyond our control and may extend delivery times. The buyer must ensure import eligibility and compliance with local regulations.

Insurance

All international shipments are covered under standard carrier liability. Optional full-value insurance is available upon request at the buyer's cost. Risk transfers to the buyer once goods are handed over to the carrier under EXW or upon arrival under DAP terms.

Delayed Deliveries

If the consignee is unavailable, unresponsive, or customs documents are delayed beyond 10 days, the shipment may be held at the destination warehouse.

Important: Any storage or demurrage charges shall be borne by the buyer.

Shipping Costs

Domestic Orders

Calculated automatically at checkout based on weight, size, and delivery location.

International Orders

Shipping costs are dynamically calculated based on courier rates, volumetric weight, and destination.

Bulk or Trade Orders

For bulk or trade orders, freight quotations will be shared separately after order confirmation.

Tracking & Notifications

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • A shipment confirmation email with tracking details
  • Regular updates until delivery

Tracking can also be accessed from your SGTMake account dashboard.

Damaged, Defective, or Lost Shipments

A. Domestic (India)

  • 1.If the parcel or item is damaged or defective, email support@sgtmake.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos/videos and order details.
  • 2.Do not refuse the shipment. If damaged, return it to our Head Office for refund or replacement (subject to inspection/stock).
  • 3.We'll provide return instructions/RMA. For confirmed SGTMake fault or transit damage, we'll cover reasonable return shipping and send a replacement or issue a refund after inspection.

B. International

  • 1.The domestic 48-hour rule does not apply to international shipments. Contact support@sgtmake.com within 7 calendar days of delivery with photos/videos and order details.
  • 2.Do not refuse the shipment at delivery. Keep all packaging. We'll provide RMA and return instructions.
  • 3.Once the return reaches our Head Office and passes inspection, we will replace (subject to stock) or refund the product value.
  • 4.Unless the issue is conclusively due to SGTMake (manufacturing defect or packing error), return freight, import/export charges, and duties/taxes are the buyer's responsibility. For SGTMake-confirmed faults, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping against receipts.
  • 5.Lost-in-transit claims are filed with the carrier. We'll coordinate with the courier and keep you updated. Claim windows and outcomes depend on carrier policy and destination regulations.

Packaging Standards

All shipments are packed according to international export-grade standards using shockproof, moisture-protected, and anti-static materials.

Battery packs and DG-classified products are packed in UN-approved containers compliant with UN3480/UN3481 regulations where applicable.

Restricted Products & Export Limitations

Certain products, such as lithium battery packs, high-power controllers, and DG-classified items, are subject to IATA and Dangerous Goods (DG) shipping regulations.

  • Battery packs are shipped only by sea (vessel/ship freight) due to air transport restrictions.
  • Such shipments may require extended timelines and additional documentation for export/import clearance.

Warranty Returns

Warranty replacements are processed once the returned product is received and verified by our technical team.

All warranty shipments follow the same shipping conditions as the original purchase, including applicable shipping costs and Incoterms.

Customs & Duties (International)

All international orders are exclusive of import duties, VAT, or local taxes, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The buyer is responsible for any charges imposed by the destination country's customs authorities.

Force Majeure

SGTMake shall not be held liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, shipping disruptions, or government restrictions.
